    Table Decorations Platters Kids

Create a lifelike jungle backdrop for your party using fabrics in dark green, black, orange, and khaki. Find remnant pieces at sales or op shops and roughly cut to drape over tables or use as makeshift curtains.

Take potted plants indoors or cut vines and stems from trees to decorate the house and create a jungle atmosphere. You can also buy large singular leaves from the florist to add greenery to your table and party room.

Add green, brown and yellow balloons and paper streamers. Twist the streamers together to make them look like jungle vines and string them up around the room.

For an authentic touch that will delight kids, string netting from the ceiling and decorate with plastic snakes, spiders and other plastic jungle creatures.

Fill old stockings with torn cloth or newspaper to make lifelike snakes that you can drape around the house. Set up stuffed jungle animals like monkeys, tigers and zebras around your wild jungle. Add some bugs and butterflies for a colourful jungle scene.

Decorate the party table with green plates, cups, knives and forks. Place a few small plants and large rocks on the table.

If the weather is fine, hold an outdoor jungle party and use natural outdoor greenery for your backdrop.

The Best Fairy Jelly Flavours Are

    Table Decorations Platters Kids

Create sweet treats and party bites that take your jungle safari goers on an adventure full of animal magic. Fill tall skinny glasses with different flavoured jellies. Just before it sets use a skewer to poke dark coloured smarties around the outside. Instead of smarties you could also use soft lollies in dark colours. Get creative with decorations to make colourful crowd-pleasers like everyone’s favourite, the “frog in the pond”. Make a jungle version with lime, berry and pineapple flavours.

Fill a large flat bowl with green jelly. Before it sets, place lolly snakes, frogs and other jungle creatures into the jelly. Allow jelly to set leaving a couple of snakes and frogs hanging over the edge of the bowl. Hold a competition to see who can retrieve the most lollies without using their hands!

    • Spider in the Jelly

      Spider in the Jelly

Fill containers of different sizes and shapes with coloured jelly and set with plastic spiders. The kids have to use chopsticks to try and get the spiders out of the jelly. Whoever gets the most spiders wins!
