Jelly Crackles
An easy and yummy Aussie favourite, with a simple Aeroplane twist!

Ingredients

  • 1 x 85g packet Aeroplane Original Raspberry Jelly
  • 1 cup desiccated coconut
  • 4 cups puffed rice cereal
  • 250 g block copha
  • 100 g dark or white cooking chocolate, chopped
  • Extra coconut to garnish

Method

Place the Aeroplane Original Raspberry Jelly Crystals, desiccated coconut and puffed rice cereal into a mixing bowl and stir to combine.

Melt the copha, cool slightly and pour over dry mixture, reserving 2 tbsp in the saucepan. Mix rice cereal mixture well and spoon into patty pans to set.

Add chocolate to remaining copha, melt stirring constantly and cool until thickened slightly.

Drizzle over set crackles, sprinkle with extra coconut and allow to rest.

Hints

Place patty pans into a muffin tray before filling, as this will keep them from tipping. We used Aeroplane Original Raspberry flavours however you can use your favourite red jelly flavour.
