Dubai Chocolate Inspired Trifles

Layers of creamy chocolate mousse, rich pistachio cream and fudgy chocolate cake, topped with fresh raspberries and crushed pistachios. A luxurious dessert inspired by the viral Dubai Chocolate.

PREPARATION

  • 1 Prepare mousse: Pour 250 mL cold full cream milk into a medium mixing bowl. Sprinkle over the Aeroplane Creamy Chocolate Mousse Mix. Beat on MED-LOW speed for 1 minute, scrape down the sides of the bowl, then increase to HIGH and beat for a further 4 minutes, until mousse is light and fluffy. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour or until set.
  • 2 Make pistachio cream: In a separate bowl, use an electric beater to whip pistachio spread and thickened cream together until light, smooth and fluffy. Fold through the crushed shredded wheat biscuits.
  • 3 Assemble trifles: Spoon 1 tablespoon of chocolate mousse into the base of each serving glass. Add a layer of chocolate cake cubes, followed by a generous spoonful of pistachio cream. Repeat with another layer of mousse.
  • 4 Decorate and serve: Finish with fresh raspberries and a sprinkle of crushed pistachios. Serve immediately or refrigerate for up to 48 hours.
